I’m so excited to share this Livingston Chapel proposal with you today! When Alex reached out about planning a surprise proposal for his girlfriend Meredith, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! I mean come on, how can you not be excited for a proposal?! Alex put a lot of thought into this special day and it was so sweet to hear the details planned for Meredith.
Livingston Chapel Proposal
A lot of planning went into selecting the perfect location! Alex really wanted to use a nearby flower farm (Meredith loves flowers), but with so much rain over the past month Alex selected the chapel at Livingston. This was the perfect option because the chapel has multiple covered areas in case of rain. All afternoon it had rained and I was super worried that we would not able to use the lit courtyard. Thankfully, it was only sprinkling at best the entire time. Yay! Meredith’s best friend, Hannah, met me at the chapel shortly before the couple arrived, to set up special details Alex planned. A few notable items were his bible opened to a special verse, a special bottle of champagne, and the ring of course! Hannah and I reached our hiding spots in just the right time! The next thing I knew it was go time! I was so nervous for Alex, but when I saw Meredith’s reaction it was the best! AHHH! I love that I get to be apart of my client’s stories!
Everyone knows I love detail shots! They truly are some of my favorites, but the emotion in the proposal images are so sweet. Stories are told through candid photos and these do not disappoint! One of my favorite candid photos is a wide shot of Meredith and Alex holding hands. My favorite posed photo is hands down the nuzzle. That is a favorite for engagements and wedding days!
